Malinska is located in a bay with woods, in the western part of the Island Krk, the largest Croatian Island, which is connected to the mainland through a bridge. The Austrian heir to the throne, Rudolf von Habsburg, discovered Malinska in 1885, as it has the best climate on the entire island. Malinska has a health care center, a gas station, a pharmacy, post, bank with cash machines. There are also numerous shops and restaurants, where credit cards are accepted. You can bath in a very clean sea and you enjoy many sports, as well as nice walks. During the trips on the island, you have the chance to admire the antique beauty and the rocks in the southern part. If you want to visit the neighbouring mainland, you will be charmed by the port city Rijeka or by the nobility of Opatija. Eat and drink regional delicacies. You can also buy home made products such as olive oil, honey, wine and schnapps.
