The Hvar Island is one of the most beautiful islands in the south of Dalmatia. With 2700 hours per year it is the island with the most sun in central Europe. The climate on Hvar is characterized by warm and dry summers and mild winters. Rich with pine tree forests and Mediterranean plants such as lavender and rosemary, fresh with summer winds, the Hvar Island is even in the hottest summer days a spot with fresh air and pleasant nights.

Notes
The house offers a comfortable stay to 4 people (there is only one bathroom). However, the maximum capacity is 6 people since there are 6 beds in total.
With daily flights via Zagreb between London, Amsterdam, Dusseldorf and Split (Croatia Airlines) and several direct flights (Dusseldorf, Amsterdam) it is also very fast and convenient to get to the island of Hvar also outside the main season. Typically the flight from Amsterdam to Split takes a little bit more than 2 hours and with connecting ferries it takes additional 2 hours to get on the island.
For this reason many people enjoy pre- (April, May) and post-season (September, October) which are generally not crowded with tourists and benefit fully from the unique mild Mediterranean climate.
“Dear Darko, Just a quick e-mail to say that we had a wonderful time on Hvar; the villa was lovely, as was the weather, the food, and Stari Grad as a whole! I shall certainly look into re-booking the villa sometime in the future - thank you very much for all the useful information you provided. Kind regards, Nathalie Collins (UK)” --- “Dear Sir, As we just came back home after our vacations, a few words to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the Villa Boric: beautiful scenary, tasteful decoration, comfort and the kind hospitality of the Croatian people. Best regards, Frédéric Farret (France)”
