The Panne is a lovely seaside resort with a long, broad sandy beach and promenade as well as spreading dunes. It's well-known for its wide nature reserves and the widest beach of the Flemish Coast. Such harmony of sea, beach and dune can be found nowhere as pronounced as in this extreme western corner.
There are plenty sports opportunities. Numerous restaurants, speciality restaurants are available. De panne is located next to the historic cities of Bruges and Ghent as well as French cities in Normandy like Boulogne or Calais.

Notes to the rental rates: In rental price is parking-place incl. The only additional cost is the expenditure. There are individual meters for each expenditure (electricity, water and central heating). The price of this cost is cheap as we calculate this at cost prices. The guarantee (caution money) you have to pay at the arrival is 175 €. We immediately reimburse you this caution money (175 € less the cost of expenditure) at your departure in case there is no damage and the cleaning is all right.
When you don't want to clean up the studio yourself, there is a cost of 40 € to pay. We are in De Panne as well at your arrival as at your departure to explain everything, control damage and final clean-up and settle the caution with cost of expenditure. Arrival on Saturday at 14.00 o'clock and departure at 10.00 o'clock.

Notes
The studio has 3 rooms: living room, hall and bathroom. The kitchen corner and the double bed (in the wall-unit - it's not a sofa bed!) is in the living room. For the kitchen : please see picture 2). Bunk bed (2 single beds one above the other) is in the hall. In the bathroom there is a bath, above a shower, WC. Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are not available and therefore have to be foreseen by you.
The 340-ha-large Westhoek reserve is the oldest Flemish nature reserve (established in 1957). Together with the French Dunes du Perroquet (225 ha), the water-collection area of Calmeynbos/Krakeelduinen (105 ha) and the municipal Oosthoekduinen (60 ha) it forms the largest closed dunes massif along our coast. Fore dunes, mobile and parabolic dunes, dune dips, grey and white dunes, dune grasslands and calcareous swamps form the elements of a lively landscape.

The actual Oosthoekduinen contain a dune dip richly grown with shrubberty (thickets) and surrounded by higher and less overgrown dune slopes.
