Our house is situated at the upper end of beautiful winemaker town Winden am See (Winden at the lake) and offers a big, quiet, completely fenced in garden and a big terrace with a breathtaking view of the fields, reed belt and Lake Neusiedl itself in the distance. No house is disturbing the view! The lake is easily reached by car or bicycle (approx. 5 km / Breitenbrunn). At the nearest lake resort in Breitenbrunn you can swim, sail (there is a sailing school which rents sailboats), surf or kite-surf (a surfing school also exists) or just lie on the shore and enjoy the special Pannonia air at the lake. Only a minute away from the house lays the famous bicycle route which leads all around the lake passes the town. The house offers two bedrooms, a comfortable and big living room with dining area, kitchen (new in March 2008), bathroom and toilet.

The Neusiedler See in the beautiful pannonian landscape and famous climate, surrounded by vineyards, is the main attraction of the area. It is only a couple of kilometres away from the house, from where you have a breathtaking view towards the lake and the area. On the lake you can swim, sail, surf or kite-surf. Motor boats are not allowed, making the lake a peaceful and yet exciting attraction. There are many bicycle routes around the lake and through the wine villages and the reed belt that surround the lake, which makes the area so interesting for cyclists. Cars are not allowed on the bicycle paths. You can take one of the many bicycle ferries to cross the lake, if you don’t want to cycle all around it. Shopping is possible in Neusiedl am See, which is reached in only 5 minutes by car. Really great shopping can be done at the Designer Outlet Parndorf, also only 5 minutes away. Go and watch for storks at the rooftops in Rust, Mörbisch or Illmitz, or visit Vienna by train (40 km)!

Our oriental main bedroom seduces with a comfortable double bed (width 160 cm) with high quality spring mattress and partial canopy. In our guestroom you will find a very comfortable bed sofa (width also 160 cm). The living room provides a modern and comfortable sofa lounge which can be expanded and provides sleeping space for one person. (If necessary, it can be supplemented by a sofa stool and then provides sleeping space for a second person). A baby travel bed can be provided during your stay for additional 10 €.
