It is a place with five seasons where the spring blooms, the summer bears, the autumn parades, the winter is silent and shines and the mighty glacier is there for the whole year. This small spot of Tyrolean nature is Neustift in the valley of Stubai. Here you have in the neighbouring side valleys uncountable facilities to experience the nature whether you go hiking or extreme climbing, from mountain biking up to paragliding, from a multitude of alps and mountain hutted which are manages during the summer and bring you delectability of Stubai – here is something for everybody.

Our house built in Tyrolean style is located in the district Schaller (about 15 km apart from the glacier of Stubai and 3 km from Neustift). Within a short time you get to a grocery as well as to numerous restaurants, bars and cafes. The bus stop is 2 minutes apart – easily and directly. The cross-country ski-tracks and a promenade lead over the house where a small zoo with hares, guinea pigs, ducks, chickens and llamas is situated. Parking spaces are enough available, a ski and shoe rack as well as a shoe dryer are free of any charges for your decree. On demand you can borrow the winter sport equipment at the glacier of Stubai by the Intersport Eisgrat or Gasgarten with a discount of 10 %.

The glacier of Stubai is 15 minutes by car apart, Elfer about 5 minutes, Schlick 2000 10 minutes, Hochserles lifts 15 minutes. The practising lift for beginners and children 1 minute by car apart.

Its very clean, neat and well-looked after. The apartment is fully furnished with all the necessary amenities available for us to use. Its a nice place to stay if you are visiting Innsbruck because the highway to the city is a short drive away from Neustift. The surrounding views are simply gorgeous! There is a stream behind the house and pretty views of the mountains nearby. Very peaceful place to stay. My family and I enjoyed it very much. If we will visit Austria, we will surely stay in Haus Bachstelze again. We will recommend it to anyone visiting the region.
