Lake Faaker is the most southern bathing lake in Austria. You can relax and recreate here. For the ones who enjoy swimming, our nicely arranged beach by the Lake Faaker is the ideal place. Lake Faaker is the most southern and the sunniest bathing lake in Austria (drinking water quality). Here you can find a bathing bay with a big, nicely arranged sunbathing area, with garden furniture, as well as deck-chairs. Each guest can find his ideal place here. You can enjoy both the sun and the tree shadow.

Hiking, bike riding, golf
Our houses are the ideal starting point for wonderful hiking trails (even guided ones), north walking, and bike tours. An 18-hole golf course is available. Fishing is also possible, along with many other activities.
Mountains, lakes and sunny southern landscape are the characteristics of the golf course 'Golfland Kaernten'. New: only 2 minutes away from Karglhof (Kargl courtyard), there is the new Panorama Golf Course with 70 ha for golf players with any level of proficiency. In the shouthern part, you have the wonderful panorama with the Karawanken, in the western part, you can admire the Dobratsch. The Club house is the 200 year old castle of Finkenstein. There are 10 golf courses and many other golf-driving ranges in the entire Kaernten and in the neighbouring regions Friaul-Julisch-Venetien and Slovenia. The charm of the game is given by the various topography and architecture of the courses, in the first place. There is a rich palette of possibilities, from the 1000 m golf courses in the neighbourhood of the lakes in Kärnten, up to the golf courses in Grado, at the Adriatic Sea.

Everybody can enjoy the magic of the winter: the ones who look for relaxation, the ski beginners, the professional skiers, or the ones who want a family vacation. The closest ski regions are: Baumgartnerhoehe, Gerlitze, Dreilaendereck, Skiarena Nassfeld, etc. They are equipped with modern ski lifts, family friendly, covered with snow at all times, very well arranged.
